Jun 30, 2011 Hi guys. Download hike messenger for samsung galaxy y duos. I'm having a snag with Windows 7. Everything was detected beautifully except my Canon CanoScan 8400F. Went to canon's site and tried their Vista drivers.
What is the complete error message you get?
This issue could have occurred due to corrupted incompatible driver.
Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.
Step 1: Let us try to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.
- Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
- Select Troubleshooting.
- Select View all on the top left corner.
- Clickon Hardware and Devices.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: Install the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website.
I suggest you to install the latest driver from the manufacturer website.
If the driver for Windows 10 is unavailable, you may install the latest driver in compatibility mode.
Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.
Follow the below steps:
- Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
- Select Compatibility tab.
- Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select previous the version of Windows from the drop down list.
- Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
